Niharika Tiwari – Biography, Wiki, Personal Details, Age, Height

Niharika Tiwari is a model and reality-TV personality who has built her name almost entirely on unscripted shows. She first appeared on MTV Roadies: Real Heroes in 2019, finished as a second runner-up on MTV Splitsvilla 16 with Sorab Bedi in 2026, and is now one of the contestants on Rise and Fall season 2, the Virender Sehwag-hosted show streaming on Prime Video and MX Player. Her search interest jumped in 2026 on the back of Splitsvilla, the much-discussed “Sorika” pairing and, in October, her climb from the Basement to Ultimate Ruler on Rise and Fall.

Early Life

Very little about Niharika’s background has been confirmed by a reliable outlet. Her date of birth, birthplace, schooling and family have not been reported by Wikipedia or by any established news publication, and the dates that circulate on profile websites do not agree with any primary source. Until she or a credible outlet states them, this page lists her birth date and age as not publicly known rather than guessing.

What is on record starts with her television work. Esquire India describes her as a model and reality personality, and every major report on her follows the same thread: one reality show leading to the next, from Roadies to Splitsvilla to Rise and Fall.

Career

MTV Roadies: Real Heroes (2019)

Her first appearance on national television came on MTV Roadies: Real Heroes in 2019, according to Esquire India. Prime Video describes that season as an ode to real-life heroes. Roadies gave her the first taste of a competitive, camera-on-all-day format, though it was Splitsvilla several years later that made her widely recognised.

Splitsvilla 16 (2026)

The sixteenth season of MTV Splitsvilla, titled Pyaar Ya Paisa and stylised as Splitsvilla X6, was filmed in Mahabalipuram. It ran on MTV India and JioHotstar from 9 January to 16 May 2026, with Sunny Leone and Karan Kundrra as hosts and Uorfi Javed and Nia Sharma as the “Mischief Makers”, Wikipedia records.

Niharika was paired with Sorab Bedi for much of the season. The two beat Tayne De Villiers and Suzzane in a semi-final and reached the finale, where they placed third in the audience vote and finished as the season’s second runners-up. Kushal “Gullu” Tanwar and Kaira Anu won the title.

The pairing became the main reason people started searching for her. Flick On Click credits her on-screen chemistry with Sorab for turning her into a familiar name, and notes that the pair later shot a music video together.

Career at a glance

Rise and Fall Season 2 (2026)

Rise and Fall is the Indian version of a British format. Its first season, presented by Ashneer Grover, began on 6 September 2025 and was won by Arjun Bijlani. For season 2, Prime Video and Banijay Asia brought in former cricketer Virender Sehwag as host. The new edition premiered on 26 September 2026 with 15 contestants and is planned as a 42-day run, with a fresh episode every day at noon, free to watch on Prime Video and the MX Player app. Players are split into Rulers, who live in a comfortable Penthouse, and Workers, who are stuck in a bare Basement, as Esquire India explains. Her fellow contestants include Gautam Gulati, Swara Bhasker, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Karan Patel and Shehzad Poonawalla, according to Siasat.

Niharika is listed on Wikipedia as a reality-TV personality who entered on Day 1.

Starting in the Basement

The opening game sorted players by cash. In her round she faced Karan Patel and Siwet Tomar, and she actually held the biggest sum of the three, ₹4 lakh. That counted for little: Niharika and Siwet each tried to win Karan over, and he teamed up with Siwet, so the two men went up to the Penthouse and she went down, The Daily Jagran and Media Infoline reported.

She came through the first week’s nominations safely. In the task that offered Workers a shot at promotion, her challenge was to entertain the Penthouse leader by doing impressions of the other contestants and the Rulers, according to The Daily Jagran.

Moving up to the Penthouse

In early October she finally moved upstairs, and the switch was not the celebration viewers might have expected. Having spent most of the game with the Workers, she found it hard to settle among the Rulers. “Mujhe itna luxury mein sukoon nahi mil raha,” she said, as quoted by Business Upturn, roughly meaning that all the luxury was not giving her any peace.

Becoming Ultimate Ruler

The race for Ultimate Ruler took several turns. Rishabh Jaiswal used a power to knock her out of contention and put Irina Rudakova in her place. Niharika then played the last power card available and swapped Irina out again, which left her and Swara Bhasker as the final two contenders, Adgully reported. For the deciding challenge Swara picked Manish Kashyap as her Worker, while Niharika put her faith in Sara Gurpal.

Niharika won. She took the Ultimate Ruler title from Shehzad Poonawalla in mid-October, becoming the third Ultimate Ruler of the season, according to Business Upturn. It was a sharp reversal for someone who had started the game in the Basement.

Personal Life

Niharika is not married. Her best-known relationship is with her Splitsvilla partner Sorab Bedi. In February 2026, while the season was still airing, the two posted matching dance videos and used the hashtag #Sorika, which set fans talking even though neither confirmed anything at the time, Free Press Journal reported. Fans used the same “Sorika” nickname for the couple.

In September 2026 she used her Instagram Stories to say the two had split. She wrote that nothing about the relationship had been fake, explained that the decision was about her future, her growth and her peace of mind, and declined to give reasons, as reported by BollywoodShaadis.

She posts on Instagram as @niharikatiwari001.
