Ishita did her schooling from ‘Dakshin Bharat Mahila Samaj English School’ in Jamshedpur. She later moved to Mumbai to pursue her studies. Ishita also joined Anupam Kher’s acting school to enhance her acting skills. Later, she began her acting career with a film Chanakyudu (2012).
Ishita was also supposed to work with Tanushree Dutta for Shrikanth H. R directorial ‘Yeindu Manasali’ unfortunately; the movie didn’t go on the floors. She has also acted in Kannada film Raja Rajendra in 2015. Ishita also played several roles on small screens in serials like ‘Rishton Ka Saudagar’ and ‘Ek Ghar Banunga’.
