Career
YouTube: the Fukra Insaan Channel
Abhishek started his YouTube channel under the name Fukra Insaan on 1 July 2019. Filmibeat notes that he now runs several YouTube channels. IANS describes him as a social media star who “gained fame through his YouTube content”.
Bigg Boss OTT 2 (2023)
Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss OTT 2, which began streaming on JioCinema on 17 June 2023. Abhishek reached the top five with Elvish Yadav, Manisha Rani, Bebika Dhurve and Pooja Bhatt. At the finale on 14 August 2023, Elvish Yadav won and took home a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh. India Today reported that Abhishek finished as the first runner-up, and Gulf News added that Manisha Rani came third.
Inside the house, his closeness to Manisha Rani and Jiya Shankar “became the talk of the town”, Filmibeat wrote, and fans split into “AbhiSha” and “AbhiYa” camps. He later said he was offered Bigg Boss 17 the day after leaving the OTT house and turned it down. “Yes, I was offered the show,” he said in a video, IANS reported.

Abhishek’s newest role is gang leader on Roadies Rebirth, the franchise’s 21st edition, with Rannvijay Singha as host. UNI reported that new episodes are due at 7 pm on Fridays and Saturdays from 16 October 2026 on JioHotstar and MTV, and Esquire India lists Netflix as a streaming home as well.
The leaders do not run separate gangs this time. They are grouped into two teams, and Abhishek speaks for the “NewG” side with Bani J and Baseer Ali, taking on the “OG” trio of Prince Narula, Neha Dhupia and Nikhil Chinapa.
Abhishek has been open about being an unlikely gang leader. He told IANS that when Raghu Ram and Rajiv Lakshman hosted the auditions, he decided he would “do anything in life but never Roadies”. He also admitted, “Honestly, I haven’t seen Roadies and like, a complete season I’ve never watched.” His summary: “See, that’s how life goes, and a circle completes, and today I’m the gang leader.”

No reliable outlet has confirmed a girlfriend or wife for Abhishek. His friendship with actress Jiya Shankar on Bigg Boss OTT 2 and their music video Judaiyaan made “AbhiYa” a fan favourite. Rumours about the two, as he put it, resurface “almost every year”.
A viral post from an entertainment page then claimed they were set to get engaged. Jiya dismissed the reports first. A few days later, on 1 January 2026, Abhishek posted on his Instagram story: “please stop linking my name with anyone. I was part of a show three years ago, and that chapter ended there.” The Free Press Journal and India Forums both reported his statement.
