Vanitha Vijayakumar is a famous name in South Indian Tamil film. she made her first debut in the Malayalam film Hitlar Brother (1997), after that she made her Tamil film debut in 1999 with the film Devi. She was born on 5th October 1980,Chennai and she is the first daughter of Tamil actor and politician Vijayakumara and his second wife Manjula. She is also south Indian actress. Vinitha has four younger sisters Preethi, Sridevi, Anitha and Kavitha. They all former actress in tamil film industry and she has one younger brother Arun Vijay who is also a renowned actor in south Indian cinema.

Vanitha from her early childhood very clear about her career. She wants to became an actress and with her dedication, she turns her dream to reality. She started her journey from 1995 and till 2020 she never stopped. Her hard work, punctuality, well behavior with co-stars putting a positive image among the audiance.

Either from personal issues or professional issues. Later on, she met Rajan Anand a businessman, and fall in love with each other and tied a holy knot in 2007. But sadly, daily fights leads to divorce and they were separated in 2010. They have two daughters Jovika and Jaynitha.
