A cricketer who turned into an actor, Karan Wahi is a popular model and host too. He played lots of Under-19 cricket for Delhi, but later moved to Mumbai and changed his career into a television celebrity.
He played with Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli for Delhi Under-19 team, but after a severe injury had to quit cricket and study marketing, later got cast in the television show Remix and played the lead role which gave him his fame.

Born in a Punjabi family, Karan Wahi belongs from a perfectly traditional family who supported him greatly during tough times and had helped a lot to raise a successful career. His father, Arun Wahi, a well-known businessman and his mother, vice principal in a school, are the backbones of his family. He has a sister too, Eshanka Wahi, who is a famous entrepreneur.

Career
Karan Wahi had two different sets of careers. In his early teens, he was an aspiring cricketer, who played alongside Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli for the Delhi Under-19 team. After his cricketing career was struck by an injury, he changed his career and became an actor. He made his acting debut in 2004, with the television show named Remix.
Karan played the lead character in the show and earned himself a platform as well as fame. In 2009, he starred on television soap Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari. Then in the next year, he featured on a popular medical drama soap titled Dill Mill Gayye. He did several other serials, such as Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, Teri Meri Love Stories, and Dil Dosti Deewanepan Ki.
Karan Wahi later featured in a romantic movie Daawat-e-Ishq, alongside Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra in 2014. He also starred in another romantic drama Babbu Ki Jawani as the lead actor.
As a host too, Karan has had a wonderful career, hosting several popular television shows like Nach Baliye, Indian Idol Junior, Dance India Dance Super Moms, etc. Right now he is one of the Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 contestant.

Personal life
Karan Wahi was a student of St. Mark’s School, Meera Bagh, where his mother was the vice- principal. He later attended the IILM Institute for further studies, in Delhi. Being an eligible bachelor and a girl magnet, Karan Wahi was previously linked up with Karishma Kotak, although the handsome hunk has had never officially declared the fact.
At present, he has been seen hanging out with Jinita Sheth who is a fashion photographer. But all these rumors are alleged as Karan himself claimed to be very much single and focused on his career. He is very much attached to his parents and sister too.
It was father Arun Wahi, who asked him to make a portfolio which got him a call from Mumbai and eventually led him to start his career in the television business. Karan is currently directing a short film and has become an entrepreneur himself, doing several off-screen works.
